Stylish Luxury 4 Bed Villa La Font Pollensa
The fabulous outdoor kitchen is equipped with a wood-fired pizza oven, large gas BBQ, gas hob, fridge and sink with hot water. The kitchen is stocked with plenty of crockery, cutlery and utensils.
This recently remodelled, contemporary style villa is located at the foot of the Tramontana mountains in north Mallorca, in a peaceful and exclusive residential area called La Font, and is within walking distance of Pollenca old town (approx 2km) and a 6km drive of the Port of Pollenca.
The house provides very spacious accommodation, with a layout ideal for couples or two families. There are four large bedrooms with queen size beds (in two of the bedrooms the beds can be split into singles). Each bedroom has an en-suite shower-room, fitted wardrobes, television and access to private sun terraces. One of the en-suites also has a bath.
The large, cool living room has views over the gardens and patio doors open onto a covered sun terrace, perfect for sipping sundowners! This room is the ideal place to relax with comfortable sofas, a large television (Sky and broadband enabled) and dining table with seating for up to eight.
The newly fitted kitchen features a central island finished in natural stone, with the cooking area at one end, and bar stools at the opposite end for casual eating or company for the chef! The kitchen is fitted with modern appliances including two built-in Neff fan ovens (one is a combination microwave/oven), induction hob, American style fridge/freezer with chilled, filtered water and ice dispenser, dishwasher, a wine fridge and an abundance of cupboards and drawers containing almost every appliance a cook could wish for.
From the kitchen, French doors open into a pebbled terrace set around the original well, which is now topped with a circular piece of natural stone and surrounded by bar stools. This pretty area captures the morning sun and is the perfect place to take breakfast.
There is also a tri-fold door from the kitchen, which opens into another terrace; this terrace has steps to the front door and further steps leading up the pool area.
In addition to the living room, there are two "snugs" with sofas on opposite sides of the house, ideal for quiet reading or contemplation time. There is also an additional shower room/WC, easily accessed from the pool area, so guests do not have to tread wet feet into the house to use the bathroom.
As mentioned, the unique feature of this house is the exceptional sun deck which covers the entire first floor. In the middle of the sun deck is the 3m deep swimming pool (which actually sits in the centre of the house). There are four large windows (in the living room, kitchen and snugs) from which you will have a view into the pool. The pool has recently been re-tiled in a "Miro" style and is quite a piece of art!
The gardens surround the house and amount to approximately one third of an acre. They are screened on all sides by stone walls and established plants, providing a high degree of privacy and seclusion. The majority of the garden is laid to lawn, interspersed with mature, specimen palms and trees. There is a large driveway affording parking for a number of cars, and accessed by an electric gate.
Other features of this high quality house include a laundry area with washing machine and clothes lines. There is air conditioning in all the main rooms, fast speed FTTP broadband, broadband-enabled TV's with Sky (English and German channels and guests can upload their own Netflix accounts), Sonus music system, security alarm, security deposit boxes end entry 'phone system.
The interior of the property is cleaned twice a week. Bath and pool towels are changed mid-week, and bedding is changed at the end of each week. Should guests require cleaning every day, and additional towels / bedding, this can be arranged at an additional cost.
